You have a choice of many pools. One of the cheapest (but also most crowded) is the Jerusalem public pool, 43 Emek Refaim St. (tel. 02/563-2092). On Saturday and holidays, Israelis pack the pools. Admission is NIS 32 ($9). It is open from 8am to 5pm.
A more convenient, although more expensive, option is to pay the visitors rate to use a pool at one of the citys hotels. In central Jerusalem, try the Dan Pearl Hotel (tel. 02/622-6666), and the Laromme Hotel (tel. 02/675-6666); at the western edge of the city theres the Four Points Sheraton Hotel (tel. 02/655-8888), and the Jerusalem (Ramada) Renaissance Hotel (tel. 02/659-9999). All the listed hotels have swimming facilities throughout the year, with indoor or indoor and outdoor pools. Admission policies vary according to time of year and rate of occupancy, but could be in the NIS 72 to 90 ($16 to $20) range.
In good weather, the outdoor pool at the Mount Zion Hotel (tel. 02/568-9555), and the outdoor pool at the King David Hotel (tel. 02/620-8888) offer pleasant gardens and spectacular views of the Old Citys walls.
